Hmmm as if "depravity" by itself isn't enough that you have to add "total" as a prefix. haha...
Well it's titled "destructive instincts" because the design is of a single flame. No matter how hard to try to control or contain it, fire will always retain it's desire to destroy. A metaphor for human nature if you will.
And if you look closely I hid the letters SAM inside which reflects my own affinity with fire. And not just my frequent playing with it. =)

Yea I've been trying to learn how to draw tribal designs for some time now but only recently got down to actually doing one.
And you guessed right btw.. Pen tool in PS. Original design was something similar I drew on paper, took a photograph of, and traced with the pen tool to make it look smoother.

Hmmm turn your head sideways to the left. The letters are overlapped so as not to be obvious.
